Kunal Parmar

Principal

Kunal Parmar brings over a decade of grassroots political experience at the federal, municipal and provincial levels to the Aurora team. He has extensive experience working with multicultural community organizations and multicultural media outlets; this helps him provide a unique perspective as he works with clients to achieve their strategic goals.

Before joining Aurora Parmar spent time working on Parliament Hill and at Queen’s Park. At the federal level he served as a Special Assistant in the Office of the Prime Minister and Leader of the Official Opposition. Parmar’s career at Queen’s Park saw him serve as Stakeholder Relations advisor to the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration as well as Senior Advisor to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Parmar most recently served as the Director of Operations to the Liberal Party of Canada (Ontario).

Parmar is an active volunteer with the Guru Gobind Singh Children’s Foundation since 1999. He is also a sports enthusiast and dedicated Toronto Maple Leaf fan.
